Robinson Painting Co is a painting company based in Metro Detroit and operating in Detroit and Lansing, Michigan. We specialize in residential repaints and can handle interior and exterior painting jobs. Founded in 2021, Robinson Painting Co is focused on delivering a quality customer experience to homeowners.
Our formula is simple: always do what is right by our clients and deliver an exceptional customer service experience.
Everything we do is centered around one simple question: “Will this deliver a quality experience to homeowners?”
Our Story
The founding of Robinson Painting Co starts with toil and tears. In 2020, the company’s founder purchased a home that needed some updates and remodeling.
Finding a reliable contractor was an exhausting process that ended in complete failure. Weeks of research getting recommendations from Facebook groups and aggregator sites like Thumbtack and HomeAdvisor.
With a narrowed down list, the founder began calling contractors, setting up appointments and getting estimates. Many failed to show up. A few showed up and were unprofessional. Others couldn’t start for months and they were too busy.
Finally landing on a contractor, the work began. Unfortunately, midway through the project, the contractor ghosted the company’s founder.
Frustrated, upset, and with a new baby just weeks away, our founder rolled up his sleeves and got to work finishing the project himself.
But, at the end, he vowed to stop this from happening to other homeowners and families.
Robinson Painting Co was built from a frustrating experience and a desire to prevent homeowners from experiencing a similar situation.
